Lucinda Bratini, Ph.D.
Lucinda Bratini is an Afro-Latina licensed psychologist, community organizer and diversity trainer. She received her Ph.D. and Master degrees in Counseling Psychology at Teachers College, Columbia University, under the mentorship of renowned multicultural feminist psychologists.
Her work emphasizes the importance and urgent necessity of developing local socially-just interventions for working within contexts of oppression. She has honed skills for co-constructing relational-cultural, mindful, participatory tools with rather than for communities, groups, and individuals. Her therapeutic approach embraces equity, mutuality, and individual and collective transformation. She is a Dominican-York, now residing in South Florida in search of sunny beaches.
